Early edition of the iconic PK61 coffee table, designed by Danish master Poul Kjærholm.

This exceptional example was produced by EKC (E. Kold Christensen) Denmark, the original manufacturer responsible for producing Kjærholm’s furniture before production was later taken over by Fritz Hansen. Early EKC editions are particularly sought after by collectors for their historical importance, exceptional craftsmanship and close connection to Kjærholm’s original production.

The table features Kjærholm’s characteristic architectural stainless-steel base, supporting a remarkable natural granite top with a beautifully varied composition of grey, blue and warm yellow tones. The unique colour variations and natural mineral structure make this particular example truly one of a kind.
